THS Charitable Support

We take pride in our contributions of time, services and money to many sports and charitable organizations around the country. Here's how we give back to the community:

This year, THS will donate over $600,000 to 35 different amateur organizations, and provide incremental revenue of over $5.5 million to help them run their organizations. The scholarships are designed to help less-privileged kids participate in various sports in their communities and in their tournaments.

THS regularly donates "Getaway Weekend" certificates to numerous organizations, entitling the holder to a complimentary 3-Day/2 Night stay at a luxury hotel in one of a choice of cities.

Every Christmas, the THS staff adopts kids from less fortunate families in Northern New Jersey. This last Christmas we adopted 18 families through the Northwest NJ Community Action Partnership (NORWESCAP) in Phillipsburg, NJ. THS also funds an Emergency Food Bank for local teenagers.

Prevent Child Abuse America works hard every day to prevent child abuse and neglect before it happens. Collectively, we create, interpret, and distribute innovative research on new and existing child abuse prevention solutions and develop a wide range of valuable tools for parents and caregivers. We also advocate for meaningful change at the national, state, and local levels and raise awareness of supportive programs that help children and families in communities across the country.

In partnership with schools and at Girls Inc. centers, we focus on the development of the whole girl. She learns to value herself, take risks, and discover and develop her inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.

World Central Kitchen is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. We build resilient food systems with locally led solutions. World Central Kitchen started with a simple idea at home with my wife Patricia: when people are hungry, send in cooks. Not tomorrow, today.

St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

41 million people face hunger in the U.S. today, including nearly 13 million children and more than five million seniors. Hunger knows no boundaries, it touches every community in the U.S., including your own. The Feeding America network is the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization, working to connect people with food and end hunger. Donors, staff, and volunteers all play an important role in our efforts to end hunger in the United States.

Millions of people around the world could get access to safe water in their homes with the help of small, affordable loans. That's where Water.org comes in. We are here to bring safe water and sanitation to the world through access to small, affordable loans. There is both a need and demand for these loans, because when people have access to safe water, they get time back to go to school, earn an income and take care of their family. It changes their world. For more than 25 years, with your help, we've been providing families with hope, health and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.

When disaster strikes, the world turns to one organization for hope, help, leadership, and coordination... the United Nations. When there is peace to keep between warring factions, the world asks the UN to mobilize peacekeepers, oversee elections, and create stability. In the face of challenges such as climate change, disease or poverty, the United Nations provides the platform for international cooperation. The United Nations is the one international organization with the reach and vision capable of solving global problems.

Kids Alive International is a Christ-centered organization that believes every child deserves to live free from the bondage of hunger, abuse, and exploitation. Our commitment to this Biblical truth compels us to deliver life's essentials and with the same compassion and excellence that we would want for the children in our lives. We rescue and provide for orphaned and forgotten children one at a time, but we accomplish so much more.

Tabby's Place is a cage-free sanctuary that provides refuge to cats in hopeless situations. Our residents come primarily from public shelters where they had once been scheduled for euthanasia. This one-of-a-kind facility serves as: An Adoption Center, finding loving homes for cats; A Hospital, providing medical and surgical treatment for sick or injured residents; A Hospice, providing palliative care and a warm, loving environment for chronically or terminally ill cats to live out their lives in comfort.

Tabby's Place does not turn cats away due to age, medical need, or "lack of adoptability." It is, therefore, a safe haven for several older, chronically ill, or handicapped cats. These cats have special needs such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, or blindness. At Tabby's Place, these cats are able to live full and happy lives with the medical care, love, and affection they deserve.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. The ASPCA's mission, as stated by founder Henry Bergh in 1866, is "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States."
